Do come for this annual event organized by the UK Singapore Students’ Council (UKSSC), supported by the Overseas Singaporean Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office and mainly sponsored by Parkway Group Healthcare Pte Ltd and SMRT.

The programme for the day is as follows:

1220 – Students from local and overseas universities to share their Social Entrepreneurship projects
1300 - Distinguished speakers on Social Entrepreneurship
1330 – Tea Reception
1400 – Corporate Speakers showcasing their CSR programmes
1500 – Keynote address by Guest of Honour
1530 – Panel Discussion begins
1615 – Panel Discussion ends; Event Closing Ceremony
1800 – Careers Segment ends
The SNF comprises 3 main components:
1. Ministerial Address and Panel Discussion on Social Entrepreneurship We are very honoured to have Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports grace our event as the Guest-of-Honour. In addition, we are honoured to have Miss Natalie Yu-Lin Morris, Deputy Chairperson,
NYAA Gold Award Holders' Alumni and Commonwealth Regional Youth Representative and Ms Melissa Kwee, Chairwoman and Business and Program Consultant of Halogen Foundation to join Dr Balakrishnan as panelists for the panel discussion.
2. Social Entrepreneurship & Corporate Social Responsibility Presentations by Distinguished Corporate, Academic and Student Speakers We have invited speakers to share insights on the theme, as well as their own projects.
About the Speakers:
Professor Albert Teo, an associate professor in the NUS Business School whose research interests includes topics such as social networks and entrepreneurship. Mr. Jack Sim is the Founder of the World Toilet Organisation, is responsible for establishing the Restroom Association of Singapore (RAS) and is a Council Member to the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council for Water Security.
As for the private sector, representatives from Parkway Group Healthcare, SMRT, Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited and General Electrics would be showcasing their established corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
We would be having representatives from NUS, NTU, SMU and Stanford University to share with us their respective SE projects and experience.
3. Career Segment- Recruitment opportunities and insight into private and public organisation’s’ social enterprise and corporate social responsibility projects So far, we are delighted to have organisations such as Parkway Group Healthcare Pte Ltd, SMRT, City Developments Limited, Contact Singapore, Ethicorp Pte Limited, Fin-exis Advisory Ltd, General Electrics, Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited, National Health Group, Overseas Singapore Unit, Singapore Maritime Foundation, U21 Global and UOB as our distinguished corporate partners.
